Laugarás Lagoon is a geothermal retreat in the heart of Iceland’s Golden Circle, surrounded by nature and overlooking the Hvítá River.

The two-level lagoon is designed to flow naturally into the landscape, offering warm geothermal waters, two saunas, a cold plunge and swim-up bars – all with views across the surrounding countryside.

Complete the experience at Ylja Restaurant, led by Icelandic chef Gísli Matt. Ylja celebrates the flavours of the region through seasonal dishes made with ingredients sourced from local farms, greenhouses and fisheries.

Laugarás Lagoon is wheelchair accessible, featuring private changing rooms for your comfort and convenience. 

Children from the age of 8 are welcome to visit our lagoon. However, children aged 7 and younger are not allowed in the lagoon. All ages are welcome  to dine at Ylja Restaurant.

Guests need to bring swimwear and a towel. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is included.
